A Japanese blogger who goes by the name Hamachiya2 has discovered a single line of HTML and CSS that crashes IE 6. The line is:
<style>*{position:relative}</style><table><input></table>
If you’re brave, you can click here to try it out. The code is rendered correctly in Firefox, Safari and Opera (didn’t get a chance to try any other browsers, but presumably they work too). But in IE 6 it raises a fatal error in mshtml.dll.
I laughed

Okay, Ruth has finally allowed me to get rid of some of my old comics.
I could sell them or I could give them away, or I could trade them for favours, tat, stuff or things.
If you want any of the below, post a message, or if you aren't ready to admit it to the world, send me a private message on one of my three functioning email addresses*

I don't know. should i have let them fight then and there? IC i couldn't let them, but OOC should everyone had had the chance to do the first mass combat under rules 3? It certainly sets up the moots as 'tense'...

"We all have things about our friends that make us slightly envious. Not in a bad way, but in a 'Wow! I wish I had that person's hair/eyes/money/relationship/toenails/whatever.'
So tell me what about me makes you envy me. . . then post this in your LJ and see what makes me envious of you."
Thus sayeth the meme.

I'm supposed to be doing this LT event, but what with the wedding and stuff, this is the first time I've had to look at getting putting things together.
Flyers can be found here: http://www.hartsofalbion.co.uk/external_docs/cog07.doc
That's the healer's version. The other guilds may have their own version. But we do need bodies fairly soon. If i don't get more people then we'll have to cancel.
It will be a great event, the only reason we might be canceling is that our advertising has been terrible.

It was fine. Good even. Details are blurring together now, and it seems others remember more than I.

 | You scored as The Birch. In Celtic astrology, you're a Birch. The animal symbol that accompanies this tree is the white stag. The ancient Druids say Birch people have good leadership skills, resilience, ambition, persistence and loyalty. However, Birches may be prone to depression, negative thoughts and too much reservation in showing affection to others.

Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is your friend-list's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal and the process continues!
My characters: Lazurus Long, Heinlein's future History Death, Terry Pratchett's Discworld Miles Vorkosigon, Lois McMaster Bujold's Vor Lords The Maquais de Carabas, Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere Spider Jerusalem, Warren Ellis' Transmetropolitian dogbert

I've never done it before.
Why would I start now? Well, basically, rivet has come out of the handle of a designer bag. The boss bemoans that we don't have the bit to fix it. I mention I could possibly fix it tonight... having the right size and colour rivet.
'why?' says boss.
'I make leather recreational items.' I tactfully don't say, replacing the answer with some excuse about Backstage theatre work.
sigh.
